PHOTO TIPS was written to assist amateur photographers to create
better quality photos. The concentration is on composition and the
creative aspect of photography rather than the "how-to" of
photographic techniques.

During the last three years I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with
several non-profit organizations helping to create permanent displays
that show their history and good works. These projects have included:

Personally creating photos specific to the displays

Retouching and color correcting existing photos supplied
by the client.

Working with the clients staff and volunteers who are amateur
photographers via the internet and

Working with the pubic relations staff, designers and architects
to create the final displays.

It is my hope that this information will continue to be of use to the
nonprofit organizations that I assist as well as my corporate clients
with their in-house photography needs.

This is a work in progress. I will be adding more as time permits. If you have
comments or suggestions I would like to hear from you.
